Short version: we analyze your file in memory to produce your dashboard, and we don't store it.
What you upload
When you upload a sales CSV, it's sent to our server, read into memory, and analyzed to produce your dashboard. The file is not written to a database and not saved to disk. Once the analysis is returned, the uploaded data is discarded from memory in the normal course of the request. We don't keep a copy, and we can't retrieve your file later.
Accounts and tracking
Seasonly doesn't require an account to analyze a file. The app sets no tracking cookies and includes no third-party advertising or analytics scripts of its own.
Optional AI features and third parties
Some features use Anthropic's Claude API and are only active when the operator of the site has enabled them:
- AI column mapping (used only when automatic mapping can't identify your columns): your column headers and up to five sample rows are sent to Anthropic to determine which column is which. The rest of your file is never sent.
- AI written analysis (the optional summary): the already-computed analysis — summary statistics and per-product results, not your raw rows — is sent to Anthropic to generate the written report.
When these features run, that data is processed under Anthropic's terms. If the operator has not configured AI features, no data is sent to any third party.
The demo
The sample dashboard uses bundled example data shipped with the app, not anyone's real sales.
Hosting
Like any web service, our hosting provider may process standard request metadata (such as IP address and timestamps) as part of delivering the site. We don't combine this with your sales data or use it to build a profile of you.
Changes
If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the date above. Questions? Email contact@getseasonly.com.
